Welcome to the Military Health Project & Foundation website, your main connection to becoming a part of the movement for increased access and improved quality of health care for our military families and veterans.
Our mission is to increase access to and improve the quality of healthcare services for all members of the uniformed services, veterans, and their families and to provide financial resources to the military and veteran community to pay for healthcare costs not covered by their insurance in addition to case management assistance services for those individuals and their families.
While our mission may sound simple, it is a massive undertaking. For many years the underlying construct within and outside of the military has stymied advancements in how we treat and care for the individuals who have given so much to this nation.
Aside from the systemic shortfalls of the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense, we are not here to criticize the current government’s leaders or lay blame solely at the feet of the people who manage these departments. It is apparent to us that every system must evolve to remain viable and meet the needs of the population that it serves. The Military Health Project & Foundation actively endeavors to work with these departments and entities to improve on what is already in place and recruits outside sources of funding to bridge the current cost gap for needed services.
The Military Health Project & Foundation is geared toward both creating and advocating for effective and timely policies and programs on the federal and local levels of government that provide the tools necessary to create temporary and permanent, immediate and long-term solutions to the fill the gaps in care for our military families and veterans, as well as providing funding in the interim to ensure continued care.
We can't do this without your assistance and support. Join us today by signing up below to receive updates and information. Together we can move forward toward the desperately needed solutions that military members, veterans, and their families so deeply deserve.
